One of the main reasons for choosing Philadelphia to be married was the City Hall building right in the middle of the city center. It has a clocktower near the top on all four sides that we could see from our hotel room across the street, which was so fun. The very top has a statue of William Penn, the founder of Philadelphia.
The architecture reminds me of an old European building — and I love that we got to stand in the median and take the funnest photos! Earlier in the week we went into the city hall building to get our marriage license to be married — such a stunning historic building!
So many people were honking their horns and yelling and cheering for us — such a fun way to celebrate with the city!
