Getting ready on my big day was so much fun! I stayed with my 2 bridesmaids at the Bellevue-Stratford Hotel to have a quiet little bachelorette party — mostly involving pizza, beauty masks and lots of laughing! We had a great time and I found myself getting soo excited — and a little nervous, Ill be honest…but mostly excited!
So, wedding day morning, I showered, washed my hair, dryed and curled it with a 1.5″ barrel curling iron. I usually let my bangs air day, which helps them keep their shape. I sprayed my hair with Kevin Murphy’s Bedroom Hair, which gives a nice hold and still soft enough to fluff throughout the day.
One of my bridesmaids helped with my makeup and I love the look of a really natural, but dewy makeup. I decided not to do a makeup artist on my wedding day because I was nervous it might turn our too overdone for the look I wanted. I went slightly heavier on foundation, blush and mascara so that my makeup could last all day and so that my make will show up in pictures a little better.

I made sure I collected inspiration pictures of my hair and make up looks so that I could think through every last detail and also show them to the cute lady at the MAC counter!
