Celebrating our First Anniversary!

Can you believe Jared and I have been married for a whole year??? So crazy!  It feels like it’s been both the shortest and longest year of my life haha  It feels like ages ago that we were with all our closest family and friends celebrating in Philadelphia– take me back!

To celebrate our very first anniversary, we decided to spend the weekend staying at the Grand America Hotel in SLC.  IT WAS A DREAM.  Even though we were only a few hours from home, it felt like we were somewhere foreign and exciting 🙂  We spent our days staying up late watching our favorite movies and shows (Jared loves watching my favorite shows normally, and so my gift to him was watching as many basketball games and Marvel movies as his heart desired haha!), ordering room service (they have the best french fries), jumping on the beds (shhh don’t tell!), and taking as many relaxing baths as we could (we don’t have a bath in our apartment so we truly were in heaven!).  It was so much fun!

We spent a lot of time reflecting back on this crazy year we’ve had and all that we have gone through and overcome– it’s been a LOT!  But we have both learned and grown in so many ways and our relationship is stronger now than it’s ever been, and I can’t help but feel so GRATEFUL for all of it.  All of the struggles have been rough and hard but oh so worth it!  I love Jared more now than I ever have before and feel so blessed to be loved by him 🙂
