Today is my birthday (eek!) and I honestly could not be happier! Jared totally spoiled me with the absolute best day. I woke up to breakfast in bed, which was delicious, and walked out to our family room to find the CUTEST BIKE. I’ve wanted a bike for so long now, especially after my family sold my old one while I was living in Norway haha! Some of my favorite childhood memories happened while on a bike– we would bike to Thanksgiving point to get ice cream and I would bike to the library nearly every day in the summer with my youngest brother in tow. So fun!!
So I was positively thrilled to receive this gift! It has a cute basket on the front that he filled with a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Jolley’s and a lovely print from one of my favorite artists, Celeste Clarke. What could be better?? I felt so loved and cherished all day long 🙂
I decided that this was going to be the year of self-care for me and so I kicked it all off with a solo trip to the Fika reflexology bar. If you haven’t been before– you need to! It’s divine. They basically massage your head, hands, and feet while stimulating different reflexology/ acupressure points and it feels absolutely amazing.
Once I was home from doing that, Jared and I went on a nice bike ride around our neighborhood 🙂 I love my bike sooo much haha Then we drove up to Sundance where we ate the yummiest steak and stayed in one of their cabins for the night where I finished the night with a bubble bath and chip cookies– is there anything better?
It was the loveliest day. Here’s to being 24– the year of self-care!
