Dressing for Spring

It’s that time of year where you can wear a t-shirt and cardigan one day, and need a sweater and coat the next– it’s kind of fun!  Growing up I never knew what to wear in the spring since every day seemed so unpredictable and I didn’t know if I should be dressing for spring or winter still.  Something my mom taught me is to dress for the day!  So if it’s rainy and nearing the 60’s, that might mean some Hunter boots and a short, spring dress and if it’s snowing or nearer the 30’s– a sweater and coat!  I’ve always loved this as it feels like a challenge each day to find the perfect outfit that matches the weather outside.

I especially love this sweater and coat combo both because the sweater reminds me of Norway, and because I love the springy combination of the blues and yellows 🙂  When I’m wearing a sweater with a mock-neck like this one or a thicker turtleneck, I like to wear my hair up to help elongate my neck and not feel too much like a turtle haha, And anytime I put my hair up I try to add a bow!  Bows add SO MUCH.  Not only are they a great way to highlight a color or bring in a nice texture or pattern, but they add a level of femininity that I will never say no to 🙂   Hope you love this outfit as much as I do!

Xoxo
