Mexico

For my younger brothers’ spring break, my family went to Mexico! I’ve never been to Mexico before and was soo excited to go. My dad and brother were competing in a half ironman in Oceanside, CA so we went down to support them and flew down to Mazatlan. They did so well in their race! It was a beautiful, stormy day which was perfect for their race, and exactly why we decided to fly to Mexico rather than stay in California haha

I can get easily stimulated and overwhelmed and so landing in Mexico where people only speak Spanish, things are crowded, and loud– was a bit much for me at first. After getting more settled and used to the hustle and bustle, I really loved the place! We stayed at a place right on the beach and it was so lovely to walk along the beach and watch the sunrise– one of my absolute favorite things.

We spent our time either by the beach or the pool and ate as many tacos as we could manage. By the end of our trip, I needed a serious break from all Mexican food haha but man was it good while we were there! We also took our first family pictures with Jared as an official member– it’s been nearly three years since the last time! It was lovely taking pictures all together again, even if it was super windy haha they turned out so well.

Anyways, it was so lovely taking a break from normal life to spend time in the sun!

xoxo
